I was driving a friend home in our new car. It's a pretty sweet car in all honesty. We were driving down Wasatch road when all of a sudden, something smacks the front window of the car. We freak out and almost hit a sign. Luckily I stopped just in time on the side of the road. What had happened you may ask? Some hoodlums thought it would be cool to go egging that night and hit unsuspecting cars driving 40 mph at night. Of course I started to go on a rant about how stupid kids can be and how they needed to learn a lesson. My friend started to call the police telling them that kids are egging up on Wasatch. I was, in the least, extremely upset. But being egged before, not while driving, I knew I had to go home and clean the mess up ASAP. So that's what I did, and that was the end of that.
Now another story for the week:
Friday, I had heard that a bunch of people I knew should be dead because their car rolled off a cliff up in Pepperwood. Extemely scary right? One of the girls was a girl in my neighborhood that I used to babysit! The kids she was with, I don't really care for much but they are her friends. She had posted up the pictures to show me and seriously, it's a miracle that they had survived. I went to go talk to her on Sunday and she gave me the whole story of what had happened.
What do these stories have to do with anything?
Thursday night, was the night I got egged and the night they got in a car wreck. The kid driving the car got charged with trespassing, not everyone had seatbelts on, too many people in the car, trying to escape from the scene of an accident, and the big one, VANDALISM. These kids were going around egging cars and then driving away so they wouldn't get caught. Yes, they are the ones that had egged me. They got in the accident because they were avoiding getting caught by the cops. They reversed the car, and didn't see the cliff and rolled down. Big injuries include impaled head, fractured shoulder, and bruised ribs.
Those kids sure are lucky that's all that happened. My friend from my neighborhood saw it as a big life changing experience. I'm glad that they are okay, and hoped that they all learned their lessons.
Here's some pics of the car. Seriously, big time miracle!
