Why'd you have to be so great?

My good friend, Alec Crestani, had his farewell today. He leaves pretty soon now for Brazil. He is such an amazing friend and such a spiritual giant. I will miss him dearly. But I know for a fact that he will be one heck of an awesome missionary!!

What else would you do with a Sand Volleyball Court.....

But bury someone in the sand! That's what I did to this kid. It was a blast!

Conquering Logan

All it takes to conquer Logan:

1- Sushi Run at Happy Sushi

(and some plain wasabi)

2-Trip to Walmart

(that is so not kosher...)

3- A band of people with swords made of foam to go out and challenge everyone on the street to a duel... It was a late night.

And that is all it takes to conquer Logan.

Foamness

Foam + Dancing = Pure, Near-Death, Awesomeness!

For Welcome Week up at Utah State, they decided to have a Foam Dance. As soon as I heard about it, I new it would be amazing. I could only imagine!! Well, the day came, and we had a bunch of people get together and go to the Dance. We get there, and people are covered in foam, it was everywhere!!! They apparently just had a tower that would pour out foam. So we decided to hustle are way in to the front, right below where it would pour.

We soon found out that being right underneath, was a bad idea. Come to find out, you can't breathe when you are submerged in foam. I had foam goin in my mouth, in my ears... it was everywhere! We all tried to get out, but everyone tried to get in, thus meaning they were pushing us back. I thought I was going to die right there and then. But luckily, I fought my way out of the crowd by throwing some punches, and coughed up suds for about an hour. Then went to dance it all off.
I don't think I would want to do it again, but it definately was worth the experience. It was such a fun night, even though we all nearly died....

Serenity Now

I am saved thanks to my brand new HP laptop. I call him Harvey Plotts. Thanks to Harvey, I can now do things such as:

-iTunes

-Skype

-Chat

-Basically everything now...

So that means I can finally post about my College Experience in a whole new light.

(Although I hope that you all have been enjoying my little stories here and there.)

But seriously, this is all thanks to the fam that I have a Computer. Thanks family!!!!!! LOVE YOU!!!

Anna the Archeologist.

Anna likes dinosaurs. This is my roommate's blanket and it totally reminds me of my friend Anna.

Anna... I could see you living in this kinda world.

Greetings Earthling

So in my Sociology Class, there's this kid that always says hi to me.
His earthly name is Steven.
He can't tell me his real name from his home planet.
Steven is from the planet Galaxon.
Everyday, Steven greets me the same way. Today's chat went a little like this.
Steven- "Greetings Earthling."
Me- "Greetings Steven." *I've learned to play along by now.*
Steven-"Galaxon invaded the planet Shertus today. Oh how I wish that I could fight with my people."
Me- "Will they reign victorious?"
Steven- "Pathetic human, you couldn't understand the magnitude of the Galaxon peoples' power. They will for surely reign as victors."
Me- "That's good. Are you still scouting out Earth for when it will be a good time to invade us?"
Steven- "Do not worry, the Galaxons', when it is time, will swiftly take over Earth with ease. It is but a simple task. Soon the Galaxons will rule the universe!
*Shows the live long and prosper sign* "LONG LIVE GALAXON!"
Me- *I reply with the same sign.*
We then parted ways.

Shut Down

So every morning I wake up at about 8 and leave at 9 to get to class. Basically i'm into the same routine. Alarm goes off, hit the snooze button, goes off again, hit the snooze button, Alarm goes off for third time, and I roll out of bed. Then I eat, change, and start my hike down my four flights of stairs. It's not that very exciting, but at least I get that far. However, every morning, when I start walking to class, there is this chinese kid who is on our patio, doing TAI CHI!!!! This kid is from a chinese family currently residing within our building. Weird, I know, but they are hilarious. Anywho, every time I had passed him in my first week, I thought, "That is the best way to start any morning." And every day, I'd wish that I would join him.

Finally I decided I was all talk, and no walk.

I went up to this kid on my way to class. I felt bad cause I had interrupted his peaceful state or whatever. This is how it went. (Keep in mind, I didn't understand him very well, he's chinese)

Me- Hey there! So, do you do this every morning?
Kip (let's call him kip)- Ya, is best for morning.
Me- Yeah, it seems like it! Did you take lessons or something?
Kip- *after much confusion* My dad, (points to self) teach me."
Me- Oh right! Okay yeah, that is very cool! Well, I keep seeing you out here every morning, and I was wondering if you would mind if someone like me would join you?
Kip-*Most confused look on his face*
Me- *Point to myself then to him.* Would you care if I joined you???
Kip-No, a-no I don't think so...
Me- No, as in you don't mind??
Kip- No, I'd mind.
Me- Oh.......
Kip- I get nervous.
*Awkward Silence*
Me- Okay, well that's fine, I better be off to class. Maybe I'll see you around?
Kip- *Grabs his stick and goes back into postion as he nods his head.*

Shut down. Well, can't say I didn't try. I still like Kip though, he's a great kid. Still is a bummer I couldn't join!! C'est La Vie....
