These Guys!
Have I mentioned how great it is to have family just an hour away? Makes the program THAT much easier.

Don't Fret

I am tall enough to ride all the rides at Disneyland.
The scale says so.
I am ONE happy camper.
Another piece added to the apartment to make it feel more homelier.
Home Sweet Home.

THIS!!!
Coachella is a music festival just an hour away from me of pure musical heaven!
I have just heard about it, and would already give my life to go there... in a manner of speaking.
one ticket=one paycheck
oh how i wish i could go!!!
headlining bands at the festival consist of:
Spoon

SHE & HIM

!!!!!! PASSION PIT!!!!!!

Avett Brothers

****MATT & KIM****

PHOENIX

Ra-Ra-RIOT

VAMPIRE WEEKEND

and MGMT

You CAN'T tell me that this doesn't sound absolutely AMAZING after hearing that kinda lineup.
I'll probably dream about this forever now.
Guess just jammin to their songs will have to suffice for now.
I want to go to there....

no other way to put it....

I'll come right out and say it. Today I ate a McGB which is short for McGangBang... I'm not proud of it, but i fell into peer pressure. I was told it would be awesome, so i tried it. let me tell you, what a great way to stop your heart! I should've been tipped off after Joseph told me it would be "800 calories of awesomeness". We were introduced to the McGB by our new texan friends after they told us it was all the rage in texas. Apparently it was like a secret request that only employees would understand. I can assure you that will be just a one time thing that i will EVER order a McGB from a Mcdonalds, or anything from a Mcdonalds for that matter. But it did make for a very fun night. The hunt for a McGB. This night will never be forgotten.

A glimpse at a McGB
(yep, i really ate that)

work

so today was a very slow day at work. but my favorite none the less. a couple comes strolling into my store, and i strike up a conversation with the two. they were both very cute and very funny. i love these kind of moments when guests actually interact with me. this couple was just getting into pin trading and so i thought i would help them out. we finally get to the check out when his wife, who was in a wheel chair asked if we had any tinker bell pins. unfortunately, we were out, but i informed them that if they picked out one of the mystery pins, then they might get one, or could just trade with me since i had one. so they bought one, and had me pick it out. low and behold, it was tinkerbell. the wife was thrilled and they thanked me and left so that i could help out the next guest. well i start helping out the next guest when the husband comes running back in and throws a nice lovely balloon animal onto my register. He quickly said how grateful he was for my interaction and ran out of my store before i could get a thank you out. oh how the little things in life just brighten up your day. this is a job that i thoroughly enjoy and is helping grow into a better person.

on another note, i was informed that my leads have recommended me for a lead position. a manager came to talk to me about it today.... lots on my mind
